Rules of conduct
एकमेवाक्षर यस्तु गुरुः शिर्ष्य प्रबोधयेत् ।
पृथिव्यां नास्ति तद्दन्तवा चानृणी भवेत् ।।
जो गुरु एक ही अक्षर शिष्य को पढ़ा देता है, उस छात्र के लिए भुमण्डल में ऐसी कोई वस्तु नही जिसे देकर वह अन्तणी हो जाये।
Rules Of Conduct For All Students
The aim of Education should be to contribute noble citizen to the country in addition to the academic attainments. We should have the examples like Mahatma Gandhi, Rana Pratap, Shivaji and Maharani Laxmi Bai before us who were persons of novelty, strong character and self-sacrifice for the cause for Nation.
Students are expected to observe the simple rules of decency and decorum toward each other and in their behavior, conduct and day-to-day activities. They have to build healthy traditions in the college, They should remember that the dignity and good name of the college depends upon their dignified and decent behavior inside and outside the college.
The students are expected to observe
- That they are regular in attendance.
- That their progress in studies satisfactory.
- That they form the habit of looking into the Notice Board regularly.
- That they keep themselves informed regarding percentage in attendance They should know that if their attendance falls below 75%, they will not be allowed to appear in the University Examination. The college is not bound to give notice to those students whose attendance falls below the minimum required. The Principal can condone some attendance under special circumstances.
- That they do not indulge in any controversy of political nature or in any strike causing loss of their valuable time and studies
- That they behave in a disciplined and dignified manner at public meetings and places, fair and cinema etc.
- That they behave very decently towards girl students. Any students guilty of even lightest misbehavior towards girl students is liable to be dealt with strictly.
- That they are not absent form any test or examination.
- That they are respectful and obedient to all the members of the college staff and set an example of noble behavior towards them.
- That they obey all notifications & instructions issued by the Principal, Head of the Departments and other members of the staff.
- That they are expected to keep their guardians in touch with their progress in studies etc. The guardians are also required to impress upon their wards the necessity of obedience to all rules and regulations of the college
- That they are regular in their studies and appear in all periodical tests prescribed by the University and qualify in them.
The students are expected to avoid
- Talking loadly while passing through the verandah or galleries when the classes are going on.
- Standing near in-front of the class room or peeping in through the window when classes are going.
- They should better be in the library during their vacant periods so that they utilize their time in useful study.
- Calling loudly their friends or shouting or roaming about with bicycle in the college premises.
- Doing any damage to flowers, buds and vegetable garden.
- Handle electric installations and damaging electric bulbs and other fittings
- Writing any thing or otherwise disfiguring the walls, doors and windows of the college during the publicity of election of any nature and candidate contravening these provisions will run the risk of disqualification of the write any objectionable thing on the blackboard in the classrooms.
- Any damage of defacement of the college fittings or property
- Use of any unfair means in the University Examination. They should depend upon their knowledge and ability and should not indulge in such demoralized and degraded means of getting debarred from the University Examination for some years
- Smoking and chewing of Pan Masala, or Gurkha is strictly prohibited in the college campus
The students are expected to note
- That they do nothing of such sort inside or outside the college premises which may interfere with the working and discipline of the college.
- That no untoward behavior in the class or college premises will be tolerated. Any attempt to create disturbance will be severely dealt with.
- That the test of their education and culture is their modesty ? humanity and their courtesy ? politeness
- The students are required to get their Identity Cards signed by the Chief Proctor of the college within one month of their admission. Those who fail to produce their duly signed Identity Cards at the time of checking, shall be fined.
- That if they fail to observe the above rules of proper conduct ? discipline.
That the students must attend all lectures arranged form them. It is unwise to leave the lecture hall before the meeting is disbursed.
That the office telephone is not allowed to be used by any student for his personal work, Students will also please inform their guardians and friends not to ring for them in the college That the railway concession forms shall be given to those who wanted to proceed to meet their parents during long vacations
